Welcome to the FCI International Working Test for Retrievers 2024!
The FCI IWT is considered the official European championship on dummies for Retrievers.
Qualified national teams from all over Europe compete at the highest level!
The event is organized by a different European country every year in accordance with the international FCI rules. In 2024, the IWT will be held in Germany for the sixth time, hosted and organized by the German Retriever Club (DRC e.V.).
Teams
Each country can send 3 official national teams. Provided there are still free places available after the registration deadline for the national teams, free teams from all participating countries can enter.
If necessary, a draw will be held after the registration deadline for free teams.

Gala Dinner
The gala dinners at the Sporthotel Grünberg on Friday and Saturday evening are the perfect social setting for catching up with long-time friends, meeting new enthusiasts and rounding off an unforgettable competition weekend (Schedule).
Spectators
Spectators are very welcome on both competition days! We will endeavor to give you the best possible view of the teams‘ work at each test. To ensure that the tests can run smoothly, please follow the instructions of the stewards´ instructions in the test areas.
Directions to the competition area will be published shortly before the event. Please be sure to use the assigned parking areas. Delicious lunches and snacks will be available on the grounds on both days!
