Firstly I would like to thank you for the kind invitation to judge this event and would like to wish all the teams and competitors the best of luck.
I have had the pleasure of growing up with working dogs through my family and soon enough I caught the bug!
I was given my first dog Devonvale Shadow for my 16th Birthday in 2009 and one the most memorable years for me was 2016, when I won my first open stake with him which took me to the IGL championship where we came 2nd.
I was also invited to be part of the winning Scotland team for the Home Nation Field Trial held at Windsor for the late Her Majesty the Queens 90th birthday celebration, this was a huge honour and we were also awarded guns choice. I have been fortunate enough to have represented Scotland in 2021, 2022 and 2023 at the Gamefairs across the UK and at Skinners World Cup in 2023.
I have been lucky enough to qualify for the IGL Championship on 4 separate occasions; 2016, 2021, 2022 and in 2023 where we gained 3rd place with FTCH Craigmaddie Mufasa of Bishopbrae.
I have been an A Panel Retriever judge since 2020 and have had the pleasure of judging Working Tests and Field Trials all over the UK and Europe.
